Paris, late 19th century. Marie is a passionate scientist who struggles to impose her ideas and discoveries in a male-dominated society. Together with Pierre Curie, an equally experienced scientist who would become her husband, they conducted their research on radioactivity and eventually discovered two new elements: radium and polonium. This major discovery earned them the Nobel Prize and international renown. But after a tragic accident, Marie must continue her research alone and face the consequences of her discoveries on the modern world…
