On 7 November at 2.30 pm, the Cineplanet cinema will host the launch of a new season of film conferences under the label ‘Regards sur le Monde’ (Views of the World), the worthy successor to the famous Connaissance du Monde conferences.

This new cultural event aims to continue the spirit of escape, discovery and sharing that has marked generations of viewers.

For this opening session, the audience will be invited on a grand journey through Brazil, a fascinating country where nature, music and traditions vibrate with the same energy.

Lecturer and director Mario Introia will present an immersive documentary film, the result of several trips to the heart of the country: from the Amazon rainforest to the big cities, from indigenous peoples to the mesmerising rhythms of carnival, viewers will discover a Brazil that is contrasting, authentic and deeply human.

This film lecture will mark the beginning of a new era for cultural screenings in Antibes: a lively and inspiring experience, combining spectacular images, travel stories and a meeting with the director.
