The site of the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, excavated between the 1960s and 1980s, had revealed the protohistoric and ancient history of the Rock of Antibes.
These same excavations had also unearthed a church founded in Late Antiquity and used until the 20th century, bell-shaped kilns and burials.
Since 2025, these ‘later’ phases of Antibes’ history have been the subject of new archaeological and historical research, conducted at the Université Côte d’Azur in collaboration with the Antibes...The site of the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, excavated between the 1960s and 1980s, had revealed the protohistoric and ancient history of the Rock of Antibes.

The museum is closed on public holidays.
