29 October, 9.00 pm – SETENTA

Recognised as an international benchmark in Latin jazz funk with over 16 million streams, SETENTA was formed in Paris in 2006.
Led by singer and producer Osman Jr, the band moves fluidly between the genres of ‘Latin jazz’, ‘Latin soul’ and ‘hard Latin funk’, highlighting Afro-Latin rhythms that contrast with rich vocal harmonies and warm, ethereal melodies. The Afro-Cuban themes and psychedelic R&B elements are often imbued with a galactic touch reminiscent of another pioneer, Mandrill, as well as the Afro-futurist atmosphere of Parliament-Funkadelic.
Although the sultry, sizzling vibe of the legendary Joe Bataan’s *Spanish Harlem* – whom the band accompanies on stage – remains their main foundation, SETENTA have always preferred to venture down the side streets of ‘Latin’ music to bring back elements of funk, rock, hip hop and jazz, rather than sticking to the well-lit, signposted path. The band has taken care never to become stuck in the conventions of any single genre, making a name for themselves on every stage!

30 October, 9.00 pm – INK – Afro Roots

Both irreverent and accessible, INK’s music defies conventions and breaks down barriers. Drawing its language from jazz and improvisation, the high-energy quintet led by drummer and composer Victor Gachet expands to a septet and engages with African oral traditions in a dialogue with our roots.
Following on from the album *African Roots*, released in June 2024, and to continue this exciting human and artistic journey, INK unveiled their new single *Deni* in 2026, blending Burkinabè vocals with contemporary jazz.
Through a collaboration with Burkinabé musicians, INK weaves into this show a reflective exploration of a multifaceted creative work, rooted in African and Afro-Caribbean traditions, and presents a modern and contemporary jazz that draws its inspiration from the great tradition of jazz quartets as much as from the conventions of electronic music and the energy of African music.
