From June 24th to 28th, the Riviera Squash Club is organizing the Antibes International Open, an international squash competition.
This first edition brings together 48 athletes: a women's draw of 24 players and a men's draw of 24 players, all among the top 300 in the world! Athletes from all over the world (New Zealand, England, Egypt, United States, Ireland, Luxembourg, Kuwait, Switzerland, South Africa, Spain, Scotland, Malta, Portugal, Wales, Hungary, etc.) and of course from France,...From June 24th to 28th, the Riviera Squash Club is organizing the Antibes International Open, an international squash competition.
This first edition brings together 48 athletes: a women's draw of 24 players and a men's draw of 24 players, all among the top 300 in the world! Athletes from all over the world (New Zealand, England, Egypt, United States, Ireland, Luxembourg, Kuwait, Switzerland, South Africa, Spain, Scotland, Malta, Portugal, Wales, Hungary, etc.) and of course from France, including the young U19 European champion (individual and team) Amir Khaled-Jousselin and Leelou Laporte, a promising young French player from Antibes, also a U19 European team champion.
Camille Serme, the greatest French squash champion of all time (former world number 2, 7-time European champion, 13-time French champion), is the patron of this first edition and will be present throughout the tournament to share her passion with the public, commentate on the matches, and participate in on-court activities and masterclasses!
The early round matches take place at the Riviera Wildcard club, 155 Allée Bellevue, while the prestige matches are played on a glass-enclosed court with a grandstand (240 seats) located in Place des Martyrs de la Résistance. Spectators can attend the early round matches at the Riviera Wildcard club free of charge. For the prestige matches, reservations are required. Tickets are available online at https://www.oandb.fr/squash-open-antibes-international or directly at the Riviera Wildcard club. Only ticket holders will be allowed access to the grandstand. No tickets will be sold on-site.
In addition, various free activities open to everyone are offered to introduce people to squash.
