Albert Camus the journalist, Lecture by Norbert Spitéri
Internationally recognised and admired as a writer and philosopher, Albert Camus remains largely unknown as a journalist, which was his first profession. Despite his literary success, he never gave up writing for various media outlets. To describe his motivations and journalistic approach, Norbert Spitéri will look back on Camus' career in a 20th century marked by great upheaval.

    Documentary Film Month
Since 2000, documentaries have been in the spotlight in November: Documentary Film Month is an unmissable event for discovering films and exchanging ideas about the world. For this edition of Documentary Film Month, the Albert Camus media library is taking a step forward with a dual offering that blurs the line between documentary and fiction.

    Saturday 29 November, auditorium - level 0
    Free admission subject to availability
    From 10:00 to 16:00
Continuous screening of a television documentary series
Without voice-overs or commentary, this series films the sometimes absurd banality of everyday life, revealing the flaws of society with a raw and often ironic gaze.

    From 4.30pm to 6.30pm
Continue your marathon day with a screening of the Franco-Belgian documentary film
Poulet frites by Jean Libon and Yves Hinant, 2022 - 1h50
Striptease isn't dead! It's back with a bang with a noir thriller: a police investigation, a murder, a drug addict, a phlegmatic cop... The piece of evidence? A chip! After Ni juge, ni soumise, Jean Libon and Yves Hinant have made a stunning documentary, a kind of dive into a fierce and edifying reality.
