Great travelers, Anna-Eva Bergman and Hans Hartung have seen in their lives countless landscapes that we commonly call «beautiful»: villages of the Balearic Islands, Norwegian fjords, azure skies... However, it is the subjectivation and abstractisation of the surrounding universe, from the modesty of a stone to the vastness of the astral courses, which characterizes their respective production: a transformation of the world in the filter of the pure, memory, gestuality, reframing or geometrization. Enriched by comparisons with Terry Haass, immense friend of the couple, Vera Molnár, historical pioneer of digital art, or the photographer Carl Nesjar, this exhibition oscillates between the telluric and the cosmic, and is a dive into the heart of the hidden forces of nature, beyond its spectacular forms.
