La Bastide welcomes you!

Dating from the late 16th century, it was Henry IV who, having purchased the Château d’Antibes and its fiefdom in 1604, received the estate as a gift upon his second marriage in 1608. At the time, it served as stables and barns for the Château d’Antibes.
The Bastide remained part of the royal estate until King Louis XV inherited it. He eventually sold it, along with other properties, on 15 July 1770 to the Town of Antibes.

Guided Tours:
Step inside the intimate setting of a rare site, listed as a Historic Monument, where every garden, every stone and every work of art tells nearly a century of stories and art.
La Bastide du Roy is opening its doors exceptionally for private guided tours, designed for those who wish to discover the soul of the estate beyond its formal receptions.
Artistic Afternoons:
A monthly opening of our gardens for free creative expression.
One afternoon each month (from 1 pm to 5 pm), we will open the estate’s doors to a select group of artists wishing to express their art in a unique setting, between the sea and centuries-old olive trees.
Don’t forget to bring water and a snack: there are no catering facilities available on site.
